Departments are the primary actors in the University's Quality Assurance System.
As part of the Quality Assurance processes, Departments prepare the following on an annual basis:
The preparation of the aforementioned documents takes place in accordance with formats, procedures, and timelines defined by specific official acts and circulars of the University of Florence, in compliance with the requirements established by ANVUR and the University's QA System.
The main actors involved in the Department's QA processes are the Director, the Department Council, the Steering and Self-Assessment Committee (CIA), and any delegates assigned to specific matters.
For the implementation of QA processes across Degree Programs and PhD Programs, the Department also relies on the work of the governing bodies of the programs for which it serves as reference, as well as the Schools in which it participates.
