Learning Objectives
The workshop aims to deepen the links between legal subjects and issues related to communication. In particular, topics concerning privacy, online defamation, cyber bullying, Smart contracts and blockchain will be addressed. Each week a single topic will be addressed through a frontal lesson and classroom checks and insights.

Teaching Methods
The laboratory will be structured through three different didactic typologies. Each week a single topic will be addressed by dividing the hours according to the following structure: Frontal lesson (possibly the teacher Sara assisted by an external guest); group work by students (research and presentation of slides in the classroom by students); practical study (study of a case, analysis of documents from independent authorities, verification of how to remove defamatory content, etc.)

Type of Assessment
Verification of learning will be carried out directly in the classroom through the evaluation of group work. Learning skills and exposure of what has been learned will be assessed; the ability to summarize the cases reported; the ability to combine innovative issues with the classic instruments of law.

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA (6 HOURS) • Frontal lesson on the contents of the GDPR and its most recent applications. • Group work: research and slide presentation on "the Privacy Authority, role and functions" • Group work: analysis of a privacy policy, drafting of a complaint from the Privacy Guarantor DIGNITY AND DEFAMATION ON LINE (6 HOURS) • Frontal lesson on Online Defamation. • Group work: research and slide presentation on the selection of concrete cases • Group work: research and slide presentation on the removal of defamatory content from the web. PROTECTION OF THE PERSON ON THE NET. RECENT REGULATIONS (6 HOURS) • Revenge porn • Cyber bullying: legal aspects; • Cyber bullying: psychological aspects SMART CONTRACT, BLOCKCHAIN AND CRYPTOCURRENCIES FOR BUSINESSES (6 hours) • Frontal lesson on the functioning of the blockchain and on the possible implications of protecting contractors. • Group work with the presence of a lawyer expert in online contracts • Group work: analysis and evaluation of an online contractual text and the functioning of a blockchain.
