The course aims to provide students with knowledge of the main features of the history of Islamic countries and the development of international relations in the Middle East and North Africa from the beginning of the nineteenth century to the present day. The course is divided into two parts. 1. will be developed through frontal lessons and 2. will take place in the form of seminars in which students will present and discuss reports on topics chosen at the beginning of the course.

The objective of the course is to provide students with knowledge about the historical evolution and analysis of the reality of the MENA countries (Middle East North Africa) in its complexity.

Teaching Methods
The lessons will be frontal and will be used slides to facilitate understanding. The analysis of some topics will be supported by visual sources and expert interventions.
