Learning Objectives
Acquisition of knowledge and skills related to the evolution of the means of communication and information in 1800s and 1900s. Analysis of propaganda and journalism during the main conflicts of the contemporary age; origin and developpement of reporting in the wartime, the role played by the various methods of communication in order to mobilise citizens and soldiers, relationships between the political power and mass-media in the war context.

Type of Assessment
The final exam has the purpose of ensuring the acquisition of the skills and knowledge provided by the objectives. The exam is about an oral test, a conversation whith the professor in order to verify the elements learned during the study and the student's capacity of independently handling the period and the themes treated.
